Fall is like the closure you always needed to have....it's like that first cold breeze that makes you shiver by the end of summer. It also makes you realize that the natural cycle is coming to an end; everything is breaking down, falling apart, preparing for a long needed hibernation. Like most humans, I do have a special admiration in regards of this particular season, and that is for the follwing reasons. First of, from an aesthetic point of view: green leaves are nice but different shades of yellow leaves are simply stunning. Forests are not monochromatic anymore and there is a slight warmth to naturescape. That is why earthy tones are usually associated with fall leaves and the autumnal nature color palette, which I have a weakness for (hence the nude cardigans and grey sweaters overload). As a secret fall admirer, I grab my notebook and start writing down things I want to do this season, mostly fall related activities. So far, I did have a fair share of park strolls, exploring new leafy locations, done some fall shoots already (stay tuned, it will be posted on the Visual section)...And most importantly, the pumpkin everything galore! The pumpkin on its own has a very unpleasant taste (personal opinion), yet this time, my creativity has burst while creating new pumpkin puree/spice dessert recipes. From pumpkin donuts with almond cinnamon glaze to pumpkin pie with speculos, I went nuts with that. No regret since everything tasted just as good as I expected it to be. Furthermore, staying in, bundling up under blankets, binging series or documentaries, assembling old school puzzles, playing card games ( or tarot decks spreads in my case, well both actually haha)...Still to try, apple cider home-made, trip to a cemetary on a foggy Sunday followed by a hot tea pot and music sorting.

Enjoy these times while you can...darker days are coming !
